When sewage sludge is dried, an exhaust air saturated with steam is produced, which is called vapours. These vapours are fed into a vapour condenser. The vapour condensates contain pollutants such as organic compounds or ammonia and must therefore be disposed of or further processed.

In addition to quasi-wastewater-free sewage sludge drying in the form of a supply air belt dryer, sludge2energy GmbH also offers you the option of vapour condensate treatment, because special attention must be paid to the treatment of wastewater from sewage sludge drying.

Proven premium technology from our own company: Together with HUBER SE, one of our founders and joint partners, we have developed an innovative process using proven technology. It purifies the condensate produced to such an extent that it can be discharged into the wastewater in compliance with the specified limit values. An additional self-cleaning finned heat exchanger installed upstream of the condensation stage can further improve the energy balance and sets new energy standards in the belt drying sector.
